I’m deeply committed to making a difference, as evidenced by my work with GleeChild Ghana, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underserved communities. Through this role, I’ve helped provide essential supplies to children and families in need, emphasizing the importance of education and well-being. This experience shaped my perspective on the power of community-driven initiatives and solidified my passion for creating meaningful impact.
Outside the lab, I dedicate my time to empowering African graduate students at Temple University through the African Graduate and Professional Students Association. Whether it’s helping students apply to schools in the U.S. or organizing seminars on developmental issues in Africa, I’m committed to fostering a vibrant and supportive community.
When I’m not immersed in research or community initiatives, you’ll often find me solving word puzzles (yes, I’m hooked on the New York Times word game), watching anime, studying Japanese, weightlifting, or finding bakeries with good bread. I draw on my experience as an international student to create inclusive spaces and inspire cross-cultural understanding.
Above all, I’m driven by curiosity, empathy, and a desire to make a positive impact by helping others feel at home in a new environment. Let’s connect and collaborate!
